VAAHTO LTD DELIVERS WET END MACHINERY OF NINGXIA MEILI’S NEW BOARD MACHINE

Finnish paper machinery manufacturer Vaahto Ltd, a member of Vaahto Group, has got a major order from China. Ningxia Meili Paper Industry Co. Ltd. ordered four Vaahto headboxes, a top-former unit and a shoe-press to company’s new carton board line in Ningxia. One of the headboxes will be equipped with a dilution control. Vaahto is also responsible for the erection supervision, training and start-up services of the wet-end.

The new board line has a wire width of 5.4 metres and will run at speed of 600 metres in minute. The start-up of the high quality folding boxboard line is scheduled for the end of the year 2006. Majority of the equipment will be manufactured and pre-assembled at Vaahto’s workshops in Hollola and Tampere in Finland.
