We hereby announce that Vaahto Group Plc Oyj has been notified, in accordance with Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Market Act, of a change in the company’s ownership:

The shareholding of Vaahto Group Plc Oyj held by Mikko Laakkonen has exceeded five percent (5%) as a result of a transaction on 15 May 2006.

The shareholding held by Mikko Laakkonen before the transaction on 15 May 2006:

Vaahto Group A 100,000 shares

Vaahto Group K 39,400 shares

The shareholding total 4.85% of all shares and the share of voting rights total 2.98% of all votes.

The shareholding held by Mikko Laakkonen after the transaction on 15 May 2006:

Vaahto Group A 142,300 shares

Vaahto Group K 46,400 shares

The shareholding total 6.57% of all shares and the share of voting rights total 3.59% of all votes.

Vaahto Group Plc Oyj has 1,452,751 A-shares and 1,419,551 K-shares, a total of 2,872,302 shares. Each A-share has one (1) vote, and each K-share has twenty (20) votes, total 29,843,771 votes.
