Vaahto Paper Technology

In paper technology, the Group’s core competencies are paper and board machine rebuilds, entire machines and systems, equipment and components. Provision of roll covers and roll servicing, and other maintenance and servicing, as well as spare parts services for paper machines are of vital importance for the success of the division. Vaahto Paper Technology division’s main customer industries produce paper, board, and pulp products.

The division has two business units, Vaahto Projects and Vaahto Service. The division has operations and personnel in Finland, China, and Russia.

Vaahto Projects

Vaahto Projects unit develops its customers’ production processes by designing and manufacturing entire production lines, machinery and equipment, and related components for the paper, board, and pulp industry. The unit specializes in rebuilding paper, board, and pulp drying machinery, which it has delivered to more than 30 countries globally.

The unit offers own patented solutions in all key components such as headboxes with dilution water control, formers, shoe presses, sizers, center wind reels and stock preparation equipment.

Deliveries for a global customer base can include assembly, erection supervision, training and start-up services as per customer need.

Vaahto Service

Vaahto Service unit supports its customers’ investments and productivity throughout their life-cycle by improving and producing technology-related services. Maintenance and spare parts services for the paper, board, pulp, and other customer industries are provided with the one-stop-shop concept. The expertise includes, machine surveys, on-site services, spare parts, consumables, wearing parts, rebuilds and components, machine relocation services, rolls, roll covers and roll service as well as regular service contracts. All service is available from short circulation to reel.
